CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 54(RES) am                                   
Encouraging the lessees of Alaska's vast North Slope natural gas               
reserves to reach agreement to market gas, expressing the                      
legislature's support for an Alaska North Slope (ANS) gas                      
transmission pipeline, and requesting the President of the United              
States and the Governor of the State of Alaska to publicly support             
and take action that will help expedite the construction of that               
system, was read the second time.                                              
                                                                               
Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption               
of the Resources Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 3150.             
Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT                            
RESOLUTION NO. 54(RES) was adopted and read the second time.                   
                                                                               
Senators Rieger, Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that they             
be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution.  Without objection, it           
was so ordered.                                                                
                                                                               
Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the                     
resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and              
placed on final passage.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
